City of Lincoln 10K 2025

Ready to challenge yourself and make a difference? Join us for the City of Lincoln 10K that combines adrenaline, determination and heart. This is not just a run, it’s a chance to push your limits while supporting a cause that’s important to many individuals living in Lincolnshire. Lace up your trainers, rally your friends, and get ready to cross the finish line knowing you’ve made a real impact. Your steps can change lives – so let’s run for a reason.

We are recruiting a team of 20 participants to run on behalf of YMCA Lincolnshire and raise vital funds to support the work that we do. Each place is only £10 and with your place you will receive a runners goody bag and a YMCA Lincolnshire running T-shirt to wear on the day of the race.

YMCA Lincolnshire has been at the beating heart of Lincolnshire, providing essential community services to the people of Lincolnshire for over 155 years. Our focuses as a charity are: emergency and supported housing, youth development, early years education, community resilience and tackling inequalities. We are values driven, with the ultimate mission of empowering disadvantaged and underrepresented communities and individuals in Lincolnshire to reach their full potential.

Each step ran in the 10K on behalf of YMCA Lincolnshire is a step closer to raising the vital funds we need to help even more people in 2025.

Where, when and what?

The City of Lincoln 10K will take place on Sunday 6^th April 2025, starting on Riseholme Road and ending in Lincoln Cathedral Quarter.

All runners also get access to the Event Village in the Castle Square after the event where you will be able to pick up your medal and relax with your teammates.

The race will be a wonderful chance to meet new people and share a unique experience with friends new and old.

How do I get involved?

We would be thrilled if you could support YMCA Lincolnshire and run the 10K on behalf of us to help us achieve our mission of empowering disadvantaged and underrepresented communities and individuals in Lincolnshire to reach their full potential.

To get involved, you firstly need to register your interest using the MS Form linked here: City of Lincoln 10K YMCA Registration Form (office.com)

Once you’ve registered your interest, we will send you a participation pack and the instructions to secure your place. This will include purchasing your £10 and setting up your own JustGiving page to start raising money.

Helping to raise money for YMCA Lincolnshire makes a difference, no matter what the final figure is! There are no limits to the amount you can raise, but if you are unsure, we recommend a £200 starting target.

It’s also a huge help when you encourage other people to sign up for the 10K or encourage them to sponsor you by sharing YMCA Lincolnshire’s City of Lincoln 10K information that you see across our social media.
