Crafty Allsorts Group – Butterwick, Boston Borough
In partnership with the South East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership, YMCA Lincolnshire's Community Development team is delivering a project to support rural communities across East Lindsey, South Holland and Boston Borough. We are working with communities to develop new groups and activities that can increase engagement, well-being and involvement in community life.
Crafty Allsorts Group - Butterwick, Boston Borough
Butterwick resident, Kathy, was interested in setting up a local craft group but wasn’t sure where to start. YMCA Lincolnshire worked side by side with Kathy to get the group up and running within 2 weeks. The shared passion of crafting brings local residents of all ages together to share skills, knowledge and fun. This group has brought the community together and had a huge impact on the happiness and wellbeing of the attendees.
