Sleep Easy 2025 – A Thank You to our Participants & Sponsors

On Friday night, we were joined by 46 participants on the Dean’s Green of Lincoln Cathedral to brave the cold and spend the night in cardboard boxes for our annual Sleep Easy event. Sleep Easy is more than just a fundraiser; it’s an opportunity to stand in solidarity with those at risk of homelessness in Lincolnshire.

Volunteers, sponsors, friends and family came together, each taking part in the challenge of sleeping under the glow of Lincoln Cathedral - experiencing a glimpse of the challenges faced by individuals who are unable to access safe and secure accommodation.

Throughout the evening, participants shared stories, bonded over experiences, and were able to reflect on the realities of homelessness whilst fundraising to support the 24/7 wrap-around that we offer to our residents here at YMCA Lincolnshire.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all of the incredible sponsors whose support made this year’s Sleep Easy event possible. Their commitment to the cause has not only helped raise much-needed funds but has also brought awareness to the growing issue of homelessness in our communities. Thank you to:
