Honeypot Preschool awarded Dingley’s Promotion Accreditation as an Inclusion Friendly Setting

YMCA Lincolnshire would like to say a big congratulations to Honeypot Preschool in Gainsborough for being awarded the Dingley’s Promotion Accreditation as an Inclusion Friendly Setting.

Dingley’s promise uses expertise and knowledge from practitioners to develop flexible online training courses to support those working with children in the early years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The courses help to improve staff in early years settings awareness of the needs of all children, especially those with SEND during early childhood development. They increase learners’ confidence in supporting the learning and wellbeing of the children in their setting whilst promotion inclusive awareness through expert guidance.

Through their accreditation, Honeypot Preschool were awarded £200 which will be spent on resources to further inclusivity in the nursery for young children with SEND.

Honeypot Preschool joined YMCA Lincolnshire following the acquisition in early July 2024. The nursery has been amazing in supporting YMCA Lincolnshire’s mission of providing accessible and high-quality educational opportunities and helping people to reach their full potential.
