Activities Volunteer

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to help support our housing services. As a activities volunteer you will support the Activities Coordinator to organise and facilitate activities at our Nomad centre for our residents.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given.

This role involves:

• Supporting and facilitating a variety of activities for residents, such as crafts and games.
• Helping set up planned activities for the day.
• Supporting off site activities such as day trips.
• Engaging with our residents.
• Acting as an ambassador for YMCA Lincolnshire.

This role would suit people who:

• Enjoy talking to people.
• Are happy being in a busy environment.
• Can use their initiative as well as follow directions.
• Like to be active and busy.

What to expect from the role:

• An opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills.
• A full induction and ongoing support.
• Use your skills and experience to support our charity.
• 25% in The Showroom café, 20% in our retail shops and Blue Light card eligibility.
