Events and Outreach Volunteer

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to help support our fundraising and outreach efforts in local communities across Lincolnshire. As a Fundraising and Outreach Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in raising vital funds to support YMCA Lincolnshire, and increasing the visibility of our charity across the county. You’ll be involved in organising and participating in community events such as country shows, village fetes, and other fundraising activities.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given. This role is flexible, allowing you to volunteer at events that fit your schedule.

This role involves:

• Representing YMCA Lincolnshire at community activities and events.
• Helping set up stalls and equipment at events.
• Running fundraising activities.
• Attending cheque presentations and delivering informal talks and information sessions.
• Engaging with the public.
• Acting as an ambassador for YMCA Lincolnshire.

This role would suit people who:

• Enjoy talking to people.
• Are happy being in a busy environment.
• Can use their initiative as well as follow directions.
• Like to be active and busy.

• 25% in The Showroom café, 20% in our retail shops and Blue Light card eligibility.
