YMCA Lincolnshire Make the White Ribbon Pledge

YMCA Lincolnshire is proud to have delivered a powerful White Ribbon campaign through our JUST Lincolnshire team, reinforcing our commitment to creating safer communities for everyone. The campaign encouraged individuals to take the White Ribbon pledge: a promise never to commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women and girls.

Hosted in the inspiring yet reflective setting of the Lincoln Cathedral Morning Chapel, the event provided a meaningful space for reflection, conversation, and collective action. We are incredibly grateful to Lincoln Cathedral for welcoming us throughout the 16 days of action and supporting this important cause.

The White Ribbon campaign is about more than awareness; it is about accountability and change. By making the pledge by writing their name on the board and taking a ribbon, participants demonstrated their commitment to challenging harmful attitudes, calling out inappropriate behaviour, and standing alongside women and girls in the fight against gender-based violence.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ringrose Law, whose generous support made this campaign possible. Their commitment to social justice and community wellbeing played a vital role in ensuring the success of the event.

YMCA Lincolnshire continues to work with partners, communities, and individuals to promote respect, equality, and safety across Lincolnshire. We encourage everyone to take the White Ribbon pledge and be part of the movement to end violence against women and girls. Change starts with all of us.
