Alan has been Methodist Minister for 40+ years and Lincolnshire’s Agricultural Chaplain for 26 years. and is also the Founder of Lincolnshire Rural Support Network which is a charity supporting farmers in times of crisis and stress. Alan also was responsible for forming a group to initiate and build an Eco Building on the Lincolnshire Showground which became the EPIC Building. Alan has also been Governor of various Primary and Secondary settings over the last 40 years and is presently Chair of Sir Robert Pattinson Academy North Hykeham. Alan is married to Denise and has one daughter and two grandsons full of curiosity and his 4 C’s of Chaplaincy to Agriculture Comforter, Champion, Catalyst and Connector.
