These properties focus on helping you to develop independent daily living skills, so that you are ready to move on. Located across the City of Lincoln, these properties also provide a great opportunity for our residents to integrate in and contribute to their local areas.
Outreach
For people who are further along in their support journey and able to live almost completely independently, we operate an outreach service of houses in the community across the City of Lincoln.
Housing Outreach
Our outreach service is designed to support you when you are further along in your journeys towards independent living, but are still in need of some less-frequent support.
Our Outreach Service:
- Supports people to live independently and safely in their homes
- Supports people to recover and develop the skills to live more independently in their communities
- Supports people to develop their daily living skills
- Supports people to become economically active through work and engagement with the local economy
- Supports people to develop confidence, and ultimately reach their full potential
The Housing Outreach Service is generally the last step in your housing journey with the YMCA.
Rasen House
Manages as part of our Outreach services, this project supports older people with a variety of support needs, such as mental health challenges or hidden disabilities.
This support aimed at those with lower support needs who can live largely independently, and is therefore not as intense as our other projects.
